Well we got back from London around 10pm and headed over to Walsall J10 for their 10th anniversary party, the place was rammed and this was probably down to the fact that the fight was on TV. David Haye took the fight to the beast of the east and secured a points victory after Valuev really failed to fight back trying to jab his way to a points victory that never came. I'm sure that the heavy weight scene will become an intresting scene now with David and his motor mouth calling the shots and perhaps this is what we need to shake the divisions up and get the BBC to start pumping money back into boxing and get these fights back on main stream TV.

Villa bagged one of their most emphatic wins of the season so far with a 5 – 1 demolition of Bolton Wanderers.

Andrea outlasted about 50% of the field at the Betfred Ladies Tour from the 101 starters but bust out when her pocket kings ran into pocket 8’s all in pre flop. I donated about £250 on the cash tables to suck out after suck out.

I listened live to the feed from America and was disappointed for James Akenhead who was seriously damaged when he got KK into AA on a jack high flop and a few hands later shoves utg with 33 pre and walks into the same player holding 99 with a 9 on the river sending James out in 9th spot, I’m very sure that James could be the biggest player to out of England for many years and we will be seeing a lot of James in the years to come – whilst he’s been in America for the final table he got invited to a “Poker after dark” episode and bagged the $120k first prize. Several hours on from that and they have now reached final table to be played on Monday (Tuesday uk) and Darvin Moon will face the youngest heads up finalist ever in Joe Cada with the young man having around a 3/1 chip advantage.

Broadway have reached the final table in their main event and Andy Bradshaw is amongst the chip leaders and would be my pick to take it down now. Tonight is their last side event the £100 with “one” £50 rebuy or add on, I reckon that they could have over 100 runners for this event, starts at 8pm so get there early.
