Walsall £100 Freezeout.
I lose a large chunk of my change with a busted flush draw, I then get back on even terms with some patient play. I go card dead for some time - so decide to start re-raising with 8 3off catching 3 3 turn and river, showdown I scoop v qq now everyone wants to play with me.

I lose 70% of my stack chasing an straight draw with JQ on a 9 10 A board with my oppo holding pocket 8s we get it all in on the flop??? 5t 2r. I then shove on the BB with 97 hearts getting called by 66 with no help. I played cash for around 90 minutes doing £300

I then chuck a further £100 at the last chance sup sat for the main event, Conn busting me when I was trapping with pocket 7s on a rainbow board of J 7 5, Conn first to bet shoves all in and has me covered, I make the call and he says "good call - I was just making a move" flips over 10 6, 9t 8r

I'm playing the main event today, I really need to get a good performance going in one of these GUKPT main events. Having never cashed, I have only made day 2 twice before, once at Manchester last year crashing out in around 30th place and Cardiff (07) I have also got deep into day 1 on 6 other occassions exiting with the leading hand pre-flop

Chip counts from day 1A with 26 players left from the 111 starters. 150+ expected for today.

Hey,

I think I was at your table in one of the earlier GUKPT Walsall prelims this week (the £220 on monday). Nice blog read too. Add me to your blog list if you want, cheers :)
