Claire's birthday today so I'm off to Wolverhampton for dinner with her and then maybe catch the afternoon game down at Walsall a £25 Dc freezeout 2 x 2k in chips.

The photo shoot lasted for about 2 hours yesterday and was a lot of fun. I didn't have to flex any muscle or get my chest out, just give it a few stern poker faces. The Birmingham Post & Mail and The Express & Star were on hand and I'm hoping to get a link up later with the aforementioned as they also did a short film clip. The photo's should be in todays edition of the papers so get your copy's before they sell out.
I left the shoot and called in at Walsall for the afternoon £15 with one rebuy/add on and got there on the very last hand of alternates, 30 runners, 3 paid and I exit in 5th although I was given a £5 chip as change when I did my add on and I normally have a "No house game" policy thought I would treat myself with a £5 spin on my birthday No 22 and I asked Nicola (croupier) to punch me on the nose to which she obliged and 1 spin later I'm £175 better off and I do the sensible thing in walking away with my winnings. I played the last chance on Gala last night but crashed out early when my AJ ran into AK and didnt improve.

The Gala Casino in Birmingham City Centre are holding a £50 with 1 rebuy/add on tonight with 5k in starting chips, 2 x 45 minute levels then a 20 minute clock thereafter, alternates for the first hour only and the good news is that there is a seat guaranteed (£1600) for the main event in Bristol, so get your butts up to Birmingham for the 8.45pm last reg and a 9pm start (alternates up to 10pm if there are spaces).
