Well 17 ladies turned up for the final of the Women's Open over at bridgenorth that was sponsored by Boyle Poker. Andrea made it down to the last three when it had become a bit of a crap shoot with the blinds at 75000/150000 with just 1.7m chips in play, she had lost a couple of coin flips when chip leader and eventually pushed all in for 450k with Q7 off v K5 off with the king holding up. The last 4 players received $250 into a Boyle Poker account with the winner taking the TV seat and $750 into an online account, there was also a 4 way agreement to take 5% of the TV seat so there will be 4 ladies with an interest in the outcome early in October once filming gets underway. The heads up battle was contested by two ladies who had travelled down to bridgenorth together Angie and Jo with Angie coming back from a 3/1 chip deficit to bust her friend with 10h 4d on a 9h jh qh board Jo had limped to the BB with Jd 5h and then pushed all in on the flop and Angie thought for about 2 minutes before making the call with a heart dropping on 5th street to give her the TV seat. I am over in Telford this afternoon and then down at the Broadway this evening for the monthly £150 Freezeout, there is also a £10 sup sat at Walsall for the £200 freezeout on Sunday and the casino are adding 3 seats to the prize fund.
